A bunch of us came here for my best friend's birthday dinner and I am already so excited to come back. We had a reservation at 7 and got seated promptly. We ordered our food family style and everything was incredible. Our server, Michael, was also great and was quick to answer any questions we had. To be a little picky, I will say we did have an issue with the number of times we had to swat flies away from our food. Being seated right next to the door, I feel like this was a given issue and also how hot it was indoors. However, other than those two small things, this is definitely a place I will be coming back to try again!

We have been Trattoria Villagio several times now for brunch or late lunch. We enjoy the food and the service - the staff has always been fantastic every time we visit. They also have a good wine and cocktail selection. As much as I would love to give them five stars, I just couldn't shake the fact that our table was wobbly our last visit and before that, our space was too small for us to comfortably dine. For food, I really enjoy the Shrimp Badda-Bing and Villagio Burrata. We also loved the Tagliatelle Bolognese and Salmon Piccata from the lunch menu. For dessert, do not miss the Seven Layer Chocolate Cake. I would love to come back but hopefully be seated somewhere comfortable. Maybe they should have slightly bigger tables?

So first time to Clifton and Trattoria Villagio. Oh my goodness, we luv this place. Parking seems to be a bit hectic, but we took a Lyft..worked lime a charm. I started with an Ol Fashion, absolutely superb! The wife had wine and our friend had a tall Titos n soda water with splash of cranberry..luvved them. The wife a d our friend split a salad and then came the bread..OMG, I couldn't stop eating the bread. Our friend had the Cavatelli Areabbiato and she loved it and she was very excited to eat the leftover for lunch the next day. My wife had the Tagliatelle bolognese and she liked it, but she really wanted another dish and changed her mind last minute..so lucky for me, we get to go back. I had the Short Rib Ragu and it was one of the best dishes I've ever had in NOVA. Compliments to the Chef. I tried the Two Silos Cream Ale and it was delicious. We order "to go" desert, tiramisu and i had the cheese cake. Both were taken care of for lunch today. Our server was Savannah, and her serving skills are amazeballs. She was a top notch server and took care of our every need without having to ask us. I think she had ESP, Savannah is a Rock Star! Thank You Savannah. I forgot to mention the ambiance, it was so nice. 5 Stars all around for Trattoria Villagio.. Thank You

Gem in Clifton from the ambiance (lively chatter), to the service and consistently delicious food, prepare to be delighted. They also have a lovely patio space that's shaded out back. Everything we've had has been delicious, especially recommend the fig pizza which we ate so fast we couldn't get a picture. We ordered two the next time we came. Their pastas are elevated with complexity to their sauces. Even their salads are a combination of so many textures and flavors that play nicely together. Will be back again.

Came here with reservations on a Friday afternoon. It's located across the street from Petersons Ice Cream if you are familiar. The interior is neat and has overall good vibes. The staff were so friendly and on top we had an amazing waitress. Arancini was delicious. My first time trying them and I was surprised they were rice balls because they tasted like potato but looked like meatballs, haha. The calamari was a solid 8/10, we love calamari but it wasn't anything too special! The beet salad (size small) was bigger than I thought so it is definitely still shareable between 2-3 people. It was good and the goat cheese was on the bottom. As for the pasta, I can only speak for the carbonara and the stuffed gnocchi. 10/10 Carbonara looked a bit different from what i've had but it was still amazing. The gnocchi doesn't look like a lot but it is FILLING, still so yummy as left overs! I got the jalapeño business, it is a spicy margarita and has to be one of my favorite ones i've had so far.

I've come to villagio several times and typically enjoy my visits. I have sat in the front of the restaurant, the back of the restaurant, and outside. Usually has a nice ambience and great staff. They also have an upstairs area which I didn't know about. For parking, you have to opt for street parking or try to find a spot in the lot further down the town. My most recent experience was on a Saturday around 8 PM . Our waitress was very kind but a bit frazzled and would tend to forget some things. I typically really enjoy the cuisine; however, I was a bit disappointed in my last visit as food was typically bland. We ordered the shrimp and crab pasta and rigatoni. The waitress said it was a new menu, so it might be I'm just used to the old menu. The crème brûlée was pretty good! You have to ensure that you have a reservation as it gets pretty packed. I imagine walkins have a pretty long wait.

We decided to visit Trattoria Villagio last minute to celebrate a special birthday. The staff was friendly and went above and beyond to celebrate our occasion. The food we had was very good-we started off with calamari as an appetizer and as the main course, we had the shrimp scampi and branzino. The complimentary dessert was good. The price point was average for the food and service.

Delicious food with good portion sizes (Short Rib Ragu is a must), attentive staff, and a classy environment. This is a hidden gem I would highly recommend. Parking is tight, but decently available.
